I decided to appease my appetite with some chicken enchilada soup pre-flight and a to-go container of chips & salsa. Why I've never thought of chips & salsa before is beyond me. It's the right amount of food for a three-hour flight, isn't horrible for you, and can be found in most airports.
Following a layover in Chicago to grab dinner (sushi for me!) I landed and headed to my parents' house to stay the night as they were pup-sitting. Waking up to my little furry friends + homemade yogurt and Starbucks courtesy of my mom? Amazing!
No major plans for the weekend but to enjoy it. We've been on the go so much lately that it will be nice to just BE. I'm sure we'll have plenty of moving work getting in the way, but I'll take it. A Saturday morning walk to the Farmer's Market (first of the season for me!) with some grilling, pool time if the weather holds out, and hanging out with the pups? Dear weekend, I already love you :)
