Friday night found me at Consol Energy Center working the circus (side note for an entirely different post but is anyone else as turned off/freaked out by the circus/the people that attend the circus as I am? Seriously can't get over the circus...) then off to the South Side to grab our friends Todd, Sue & Will who were in town for Mark & RandiLynn's wedding. Clearly we made the right move and took the Eagles fans and Patriots fan to Bettis' Grille 36 on the North Shore. Clearly :)
After a few Blue Moons and a pretty awesome gastro-pub cheddar & horseradish burger (forgot my camera at home: lame!) we called it a night.
Saturday morning swept me into the salon (note to self: always schedule a blow out on the day of a wedding, you will feel ten times better about yourself) then home for a fashion show (i.e. 'i don't know what to wear, Shaun please help me') before getting in the car and trekking up to New Kensington. Is New Ken even still considered remotely near Pittsburgh?! I kid, I kid...
After an hour ceremony in which we all decided that any friend of ours still to be married is SOL because our maturity levels and patience in mass have drastically decreased, I give you the glowing bride RandiLynn and dapper groom Mark!
After dragging ourselves out of bed on Sunday (at 11 am - really not too bad!) and seeing a beautiful day outside, Shaun suggested we hit up Sugar Cafe in Dormont. This might be one of the Top 10 best things Shaun has ever done in life...because WOW - it was incredible!
I started my meal with a latte (how COOL is the dragon?!) and Shaun ordered coffee...
Sunday ended in a crappy, late night fashion with the Steelers losing to the Ravens in the final minute of the game. No, I don't want to talk about it ;)
Have a great week, everyone!!
