Coming out of Todd Durkin's session, I felt like a completely new person. I felt reinvigorated, energized and ready to look at life differently. That's not something everyone can say after sitting in a room for three hours, so major props to Todd for his charisma and public speaking/motivational skills. I wanted to share some of my 'key learnings' with you all so you can begin to treat life differently. In no particular order, here we go:
*Ask yourself: who can you influence greatly on a deep level?
*Never underestimate the importance of touch.
*Every 90 days, ask yourself the following questions: what have I accomplished in the last 90 days? What are my present issues and challenges? What am I going to accomplish in the next 90 days?
*Make sure you are busy doing the RIGHT things.
*The bigger the DREAM, the more important the TEAM.
*Be humble...and be hungry.
*You are just like the five closest people in your life.
That last point is one I really loved. Take a second to stop and think about those five people. Are you happy with your list? If not, what can you do to change it? Just some food for thought for the day :)
