PS - see that stop sign? I, along with my neighbors, fought super hard for that. It even took a car into my neighbor's house for Lebo to install it, but we finally won!
PPS - as you can see, the streets were clean when I took this earlier, and now we're dealing with near whiteout conditions here - craziness, but I love it! I just hope everyone is being careful driving & staying safe!
For lunch today, I was craving something warm & hearty since my body just can't seem to stay comfortable today, so wild rice it was. Have you ever cooked wild rice the correct way? Toss in a cup of rice, two and a half cups of water, a tablespoon of butter (it makes all the difference, really) and a teaspoon of salt and you get this!
In the spirit of better late than never, I'm taking a page from Fit Chick in the City and enlisting SIDI (Say It, Do It!) on the blog at the beginning of every week. And yes, I know it's Tuesday, but yesterday didn't really count...right? Without further ado, here are my workout goals for the week:
Monday: Bosu Power, Balance & Toning (check!)
Tuesday: Hip Hop Zumba
Wednesday: Hip Hop Zumba
Thursday: Rest Day
Friday: Spin Class
Saturday & Sunday: Outdoor Run/Treadmill Intervals + Weights (one day = rest)
