Moving on....I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving holiday! I enjoyed (most of ) the week off work so I do apologize for the lack of blog posts. For some reason when I am not working my full time job, I'm not super motivated to be near a laptop, or cell phone, or anything that resembles modern technology :)
We were once again able to celebrate Thanksgiving with both of our families this year - lunch was at my parents' house and dinner was in Altoona with the Mason family! I contributed bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese, a lightened-up sweet potato casserole inspired by a fellow 'burgh blogger Jessica & spiced apple cider sangria! They were all hits!
As we said grace this year, we all said something we were thankful for. Good health, family, friends, the time to be together, good food, and employment all topped the list at our house. What about yours?
I totally slacked off on photos as the day went on and am kicking myself for not getting one of myself having a 'sleepover' with my nieces (and Hailey, of course), but you can't win 'em all, right? Here are a few regardless...
and create memories to last a lifetime!
